Mt. Hood questions

Question:

I am interested in purchasing the Mt. Hood but am concerned about how I would anchor the unit to a concrete slab I was planning to have done soon. Without knowing what type of anchors to set in the concrete and where the anchors should go, I am concerned that I may have to cancel my scheduled concrete pad job, or look for another greenhouse.

I would appreciate any assistance at your earliest convenience regarding the type and location of anchoring for the 6' X 8' Mt. Hood. (I did not see anywhere that there was an achor set for this model.)

Answer:

I contacted the manufacture for you regarding the size of concrete anchor bolts and they replied with "We do not offer specific anchor bolt recommendations but rather differ to the experts at a local builders supply."

If you wish to place the base on the slab, most customers will pre drill holes every two feet into the base. Then fasten the anchors to the concrete.

If you wish to place the base directly on the ground without a slab, please make sure the base is completly level, dig holes for each corner, attach ground stakes to base, fill holes with concrete mix and water.
